Chief of staff to president Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari is dead.
Abba Kyari died of the coronavirus on Friday at the age of 81.
A statement from the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said, “Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon.”
Adesina said funeral arrangements for the deceased would be announced soon.

Abba Kyari had back in March gone into self-isolation after testing positive for the virus. The news of his death comes after a prolong silence over his whereabouts since contracting the dreaded respiratory disease.
