You can now add ‘Lawyer’ to the job description of veteran actor Kanayo O Kanayo.
Nollywood actor Kanayo O Kanayo is finally putting his law degree into use after being called to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
The movie icon announced news of his enrollment via his Instagram page today being Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
An excited Kanayo shared a shot of himself wearing the traditional attire familiar with those in the law profession.
It is indeed a dream come true for the respected actor who has not kept secret his desire to become a lawyer. The caption of his post attests to this once again.
“To God be all the Glory. You can now address me as Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, Esq, MFR ( Barrister And Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria),” he wrote.
Five years ago, the actor took everyone by surprise when he enrolled for a Law degree at the University of Abuja. He graduated in 2018 and went to the Nigerian Law School where he passed the examinations in July
2020.
The NBA is a non-profit, umbrella professional association of all lawyers admitted to the bar in Nigeria. It is engaged in the promotion and protection of human rights, the rule of law and good governance in the country.
