The movie star says he’ll perform better in office if made president.
Prominent Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has staked his claim to become the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The self-assured movie star made this know via his Twitter page on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
In his post, Yul said if youths can wake up and give him the same level of support they give to housemates from the Big Brother Naija reality show, then he will surely emerge as not only the next president but the best as well.
“If Nigerian youths will realize the power they have & support me the way they support BBNaija housemates I’ll surely become Nigeria’s next President & best,” he wrote.
It didn’t end there as he went on to pitch his visions for the country.
The actor noted that he’ll stump out the divides within the nation and ensure that only competent individuals are appointed to hold public offices, regardless of their tribe or religion.
He continued: “I’ll unite this country & appoint credible men & women to work with irrespective of tribe or religion.”
Edochie is a Nigerian actor who is known to wade into trending social and political issues in the country.
