On the night of Sunday, October 27, The African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) took place at the Bomb Factory, Canton, Dallas, Texas – and our own music star, Zlanta Ibile literally walked home with a cabin full of Awards
The Zanku master won three major awards in one night. Zlanta received Best Collaboration Award, Best New Act and Song of the Year
Popular indigenous rapper, Phyno and fela-inspired singer, Burna Boy also had reasons to smile. Both emerged winners in Best Rap Act and Artist of The Year category.

Meanwhile, Legendary Nigerian Afrobeats singer Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known by his stage name, 2baba, was honoured with a #20YearsAKing Special Recognition Award for his pioneering role in the evolution and rise of Afrobeats.
