After being Hosted in London by Nigerian High Commissioner, Super Eagles faces match-fixing threat! Will the game go ahead today?

Super Eagles

The Super Eagles, Nigerian national football team were welcomed and hosted by the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Alhaji Dalhatu Sarki Tafida on Monday the 26th of May prior to their last international friendly match before the World Cup game. The Super Eagles players for the friendly includes, the head coach Stephen Keshi,  Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Peter Odemwingie, Emmanuel Emeniek, Captain Vincent Enyema to name a few. The Nigerian Commissioner also used this opportunity to wish them goodluck, success and a great game in Brazil 2014.

Nigerians mainly have been waiting for this friendly game between the Super Eagles vs Scotland and this will be a great opportunity to meet the team before they jet off to Brazil. The pre World Cup international friendly which is taking place at Fulham’s Craven Cottage ground today May 28, is allegedly under investigation because it is a desirable match for match fixing. There is no suggestion that any of the players will be involve. The SFA has released a statement saying it is liaising with the relevant authorities and is preparing for the match as normal.

The team promise success, great game and performance to the best of their ability at the forthcoming World Cup in Brazil, so if you are in London today, go and support the team and wish them a successful far well.
