Ifeoma, a sister of Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, has said that her brother has been having intimacy with his ex-fiancée Fancy Acholonu and that he’s not gay.
Ifeoma in an interview on Obodo.Oyibo TV said Alex told her they had sex when they reconciled in January, and Fancy was lying when she said they hadn’t had sex in 5 years.
The emotional woman, who was almost to tears in the interview, said that there were no gay persons in her family despite the host of the show trying to explain that she was being homophobic.
She said that Fancy had exposed Alex once again to the rumors that he’s a gay man and that the action had pained the family.
She said the family had decided to let God fight their battles but were hurt by the narrative that keeps flying around.
Recall Fancy exposed Alex as making her provide the public apology and also not being intimate with her for five years. She’d claimed Alex was out to destroy her reputation.

Fancy Acholonu makes a more shocking revelation about his sexuality
Recall that in an interview with Stella Dimoko Korkus, Fancy Acholonu revealed that for the five years they dated, he never had intimacy with her.
“I tried my best. He wanted to get back with me as much as I did. We’ve been at this for one year. But he felt since I broke up with him I should do more of the work. I was fine with that but his methods are cruel and constantly public. His sexuality is not the reason I broke up with him. I’m very open minded so regardless of what he prefers, love is love for me. I loved him for his personality and heart nothing more. He didn’t want to be with me intimately which was confusing and difficult for me to understand especially for 5 years so it did affect my self esteem as I kept myself for him and when he would cheat with curvy women he wouldn’t perform with them either so I don’t know, I can’t confirm or deny his sexuality but for me, I loved him despite all and he still found ways to hurt me.
Alex Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu’s Merry relationship
Recall that Alex Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu got engaged in May 2021 after 5 years of dating. However, their engagement didn’t last long as Acholonu suddenly called off their already-scheduled wedding in August of the same year.
On Friday, December 29th, the model shocked many when she issued a public apology to Ekubo via Instagram, stating that her heart still belongs to him.
Ekubo reacted to the apology with a comment which read, “I appreciate the apology. May God bless us all.”
Rumours of a possible reconciliation started making rounds before Fancy shut it down. In an unexpected turn of events, the US model claimed that Alex had fooled her into making a public apology and then blocked her.
Acholonu took to Instagram on Monday, January 2nd to declare that she is “free” and that “the chain is broken.”
