Famous Nigerian actor, writer and filmmaker, Richard Ayodeji Makun a.k.a Ay comedian released his newly produced movie titled, Almajiri on Friday 11th November 2022.
The movie, Almajiri exposes the most visible tragedy seen on the streets of all Northern Nigerian cities and beyond.
Almajiri got the attention of everyone at Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival with 27 nominations and 12 awards at TINFF Canada, five nominations at AMAA and 11 nominations best of Nollywood.
Some of the cast and crew members are Annie Idibia, Alex Ekubo, Mr Macaroni, Seyi Law, Ali Nuhu, Adam A. Zango, Segun Arinze, Rahama Sadau, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Sani Musa Danja, Asabe Madaki and Segun Lafup.
The movie, Almajiri is the closing film for Africa International Film Festival a.k.a AFRIFF as the movie night premiere was held on Friday, 11th November 2022 with an Arabian dress code.
The red carpet was Arabian-inspired, rocked by different celebrities.

- Ay Comedian
The movie producer of Almajiri was present on the red carpet as he dressed in his Arabian-inspired outfit.
He wore a multi-coloured thobe, a.k.a long robe, a green and yellow bish worn over the thobe and a yellow turban worn on his head. Ay’s outfit is by @abokiniz.
Mabel Makun
Famous Nigerian actor Ayodeji Makun a.k.a Ay’s wife, Mabel Makun was also present at the movie Almajiri night premiere on the red carpet.
Although, she didn’t rock her outfit in an Arabian-inspired outfit.
She wore a beautiful long pink dress alongside a cape from a Nigerian fashion designer, @julyetpeters.

Alex Ekubo
Famous Nigerian actor Alex Ekubo who is also a cast of the movie, Almajiri, was present at the movie night premiere.
He joined others to rock his Arabian-inspired outfit as he wore a multi-coloured thobe a.k.a long robe, wine and gold colour of bisht worn over the long robe and turban.
Rahama Sadau
Famous Nigerian actress Rahama Sadau who is another cast of the movie Almajiri went to the movie night premiere.

Mary Yul-Edochie
