Sensational UK singer, Anthony Everest who is also known as Àrèmúorin attended the Cameroon Academics Art and Film Awards (CAAFAs), held at the luxurious five stars Intercontinental Hotel in London on Sunday, October 20th. The award night was produced by G-Class Entertainment.

Anthony Everest opened the evening with a self-penned song from his forthcoming Ep – Oblivion, titled “If you need me”, and closed with an old song he wrote, “Never Around” from his last Ep.

He was given a Music Recognition Award for his continual creativity in the music industry.

Taking to social media, he said. #GodFirst: Thank you #CAAFAS for this recognition award. It means the world to me. I put this down to all the beautiful souls sent to me this season & the never-ending love of #God ..’ – #In14Ways

“Carthatic music has always been important to me due to my experience of living with narcolepsy/cataplexy. I’ve lived with this medical challenge for over 2 decades”. He added.

I recall been hit by a car, at night, once or twice; and other Godly, narrow escapes because of this sleep paralysis. But God has said: “no”. God says no to a lot of things concerning me. There’s more to my purpose and destiny”. Anthony added.

It’s a subject I avoided for years and felt like giving up on life for; but moments like these, reminds me, to “Follow My Dreams”. He concluded.
