Lidija Novakovic, a renowned theologian and Bible apologist once opined: “As responsible interpreters of the word of God, we should continually engage in the study of the world behind the text in order to better understand the world of the text and apply it to our lives…”

Sometime ago I gave the word of prophecy as the Lord laid it in my heart..

“There is a generation that is RISING…….No, that generation IS HERE…They were in INCUBATION, now about to be UNLEASHED…This generation look ordinary on the outside, they are jeans wearing, makeup wearing, (things like that), you know?…..unassuming. They love to laugh, they love to dance, they do not look too spiritual and they challenge status quo. They cut across different ages but they have one thing in common. They have developed their inward man. They WILL operate in a different way than we’ve been used to and those who refuse to develop themselves spiritually will be the first to speak out against them and persecute them calling them all sorts of names….The funny thing is that the way they are seen now, is the way the Pharisees and Sadducees saw Jesus…Luke 7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
Come o now! Jesus didn’t fit the bill. He was even accused of using the Devil’s power to heal.
This generation of believers don’t necessarily fit the bill so, be careful not to miss God’s messenger to you because you’re wearing “religious” goggles….
Matthew 13:54  And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
55  Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56  And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57  And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
58  And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

WHEN THE VESSEL LOOKS COMMON TO YOU, YOU TAKE YOURSELF OUT OF THE RANGE OF THE MIRACLES THAT ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH HIM OR HER.”

And so the emergence of the likes of

Numbere Kaydee

Olumati Isaiah

Joseph Jay Don

Toniaamaka Chrisokere

among many others like them is imminent. It is unavoidable.

Church folk take it from me. I speak from my heart. We need these young people to keep doing what they’re doing.

They and countless others like them are the future of the relevance of the Church in a fast-changing, norms and standards questioning world.

Pastors and ministry leaders, they are around you. Seek them out and give them a platform and genuine fatherly counsel and rebuke in love where necessary.

Let us avoid the tragedy of our own growing years when we were labeled renegades simply because we saw the scriptures from the eyes of INTENSE studies. And those who couldn’t understand the lenses from which we saw, branded us rebels.

God Himself is strategically raising young people who continually engage in the study of the world behind the text(word) in order to better understand the world of the text(word) and apply it to our lives…”

The Church loses when we suppress God’s NEW THING.

Finally, to this generation of Apostles, my message to you is, DON’T GIVE UP. Even your peers will misunderstand and fight you…. Just Keep RISING.
