A private media screening was held on Tuesday 9th of September 2014 for Michael Ibiayo’s Urban Rhythm film at Odeon Greenwich.
In attendance were top media and entertainment industry personalities and executives who had the opportunity to see the movie for the first time. Guests included radio personality Wisetola, broadcasters Shope Olajide and Lola Ogunbadejo, J2Konsult dons Joe Ehi and Julie, actress Theodora Ibekwe and event host Dj Abass.
Factory 78’s Lanre Davies expressed delight at the quality and theme of the movie “It’s great to see a very good movie production telling the Afrobeats story as it affects the UK industry. Beautiful”.
Lukman Sanusi of Bubbles FM also commended the efforts of the production team. “I’m very impressed with the story and overall production. It’s a movie everyone must see.”
The London premiere of the film is scheduled for Friday the 3rd of October, 2014 at the Lighthouse, 254 Camberwell Rd, SE5.
