Nigerian prolific author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will be receiving an honorary degree from American University in Washington, DC and deliver the commencement address for the university’s College of Arts and Sciences this May.
The writer will be honored as “one of the world’s most powerful voices in fiction”.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree at the College of Arts and Sciences commencement.
