For comedian AY, people’s priorities are determined by the current situation they find themselves.

Top Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun aka AY has taken to social media to weigh in his opinion on the issue of ‘lazy Nigerian youths’.

In a recent post shared via his Twitter page on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, the hilarious personality said the reason why most Nigerian youths are lazy is as a result of what he described as “the tragedy of unemployment.”

‘Lazy Nigerian youths’ is the infamous term used by President Muhammadu Buhari to describe the attitude of young people in the country.

According to him, it is extremely painful when a young person graduates from the university with a good result and does not get a job to match. It didn’t end there as he noted that the plight of educated Nigerian youths is compounded by bad governance.

He wrote: “The laziness of most Nigerian youth is caused by the tragedy of unemployment. Nothing is more heart breaking than graduating with a good degree with no job to do, or finding yourself in a system of governance that doesn’t work. Your situation sometime determines your priorities.”

‘Lazy Nigerian Youths’ is the infamous term used by President Muhammadu Buhari to describe the attitude of young people in the country during a panel appearance with world leaders at an international conference in 2018.
