Afrobeats singer, Ayra Starr, has spoken out following her record-breaking achievements.

The Mavins signee made history as the first female Nigerian singer to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify.

According to Chart data, Ayra Starr’s hit song, “Rush,” has become the first solo song by a female Nigerian artist to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify.

Her tweet read,“@ayrastarr’s “Rush” becomes the first solo song by a female Nigerian artist to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify”.

Reacting to it, Ayra Starr noted how things that were once a dream to her are becoming her reality.

Congratulating herself, she tweeted, “The things that were once just dreams. Congratulations superstar @ayrastarr!!!!”.

 

Simi becomes the first female artist in Africa to hit 100 million plays on Audiomack.

In similar news, Nigerian sensational singer Simi Ogunleye broke a record by becoming the first female artist to get 100 million plays on Audiomack.

The “Duduke” crooner took to her Instagram page to share the good news with her family.

She showed her appreciation to Audiomack for the opportunity given to her to air her song around the world.

She also showed her appreciation to God for the growth and to her fans for their support.

Simi added that she had an incredible time with amazing women at the Audiomack Women Music Brunch.
