Former Big Brother Naija star Mercy Eke has revealed some interesting truths about her current relationship with fellow housemate, Ike Onyema
Mercy and Ike were romantically involved at the last edition of the BBNaija reality competition and were among the housemates who came out of the show still clinging to one another. However, a lot of fans are of the opinion that their relationship is simply a fling.
The reality star has now addressed her doubters during an Instagram live chat while speaking about a host of personal matters.
In her own words, Mercy said that she and Ike are truly in love, and they’re not obligated to prove it to anyone.
She said: “People still doubt it because it is too real. People still doubt because they don’t believe in something they don’t know. They don’t believe in that kind of relationship or whatever it may be. They don’t believe that someone like me will be with Ike and be in love and we are not trying to prove a point.”
The couple are currently joint owners of a reality show titled ‘Mercy and Ike’ which is centered around their relationship.
