To the excitement of fans, the maiden edition, co-hosted by Nigeria’s finest compere, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and South Africa’s first-rated host, Lawrence Maleka, kicked off on Sunday, January 15, 2023. And 20 contestants, called Titans comprising 10 South Africans and 10 Nigerians, were ushered into the Big Brothers House, streaming live from South Africa. But that’s not all! The show will run for 72 days as the Titans battle for who will go home empty-handed vs who will go home with the grand prize of 100 thousand dollars. Unlike the last season of Big Brother Naija and Mzansi, tagged boring and cliche, Big Brother has told viewers to expect explosive, spellbinding, and unrivalled Entertainment. We bet you all know what that means.

It promises to be everything viewers have been asking for and more. But can fans of the show really bank on these promises? Will Big Brother deliver this time around? Of course, there are more pressing questions fans need answers to. What are the BBTitans really all about? Will there be another BBNaija later this year? And will the show constitute distractions for youths as Nigeria Decides in the upcoming 2023 election?
