Music queen and multi-talented star, Beyonce featured six Nigerian artistes in her new album, The Lion King: The Gift, which is the musical accompaniment to her new Disney movie.
Nigerian artistes such as Yemi Alade who also attended the European premiere in London, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Tekno, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage as well as Ghana’s Shatta Wale.

Beyonce confirmed that the new album is scheduled for release on Friday.
Talking about the album, Beyonce said, “each song was written to reflect the film’s storytelling that gives the listener a chance to imagine their own imagery while listening to a new contemporary interpretation.
“It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers. Authenticity and heart were important to me.”
The music queen is currently premiering the movie across the world. The European Premiere of Lion King took place in London on July 16th and was history in the making. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan attended the event.
Nigerian music queen Yemi Alade was also spotted at the premiere.
