Breaking The Silence of Abuse in our Communities, an event brought to you by UK Africa Diaspora Forum will take place this Friday, Nov 24, 2017 in London. The main aim of the event is to focus on community education and breaking the cycle of different forms of abuse in our society.

In the 21st century, do communities understand all the different forms of abuse?

The line of speakers are going to explore, dissect and understand this crisis in our communities, discussions and presentations will range from:

  • Protecting Women from Emotional Abuse
  • Hearing from Survivors of Domestic Violence
  • Learning About Abuse and Human Rights
  • Discrimination and Abuse
  • Bullying in Schools and the Rise in Knife Crimes
  • Breaking the Cycle of Abuse around Witchcraft
  • Improving the Lifestyle for People with Disabilities
  • Navigating the jigsaw puzzle of Women and Domestic Violence
  • Helping Men suffering from Domestic Violence.

Connecting World-Wide Communities to Create Awareness to Stop Domestic Violence.

This is a Call for Action to Stop any Form of Abuse within our Society. Recommendations will range from:

  • Own Values and Personal Growth
  • Connecting Communities
  • Education on Basic Human Rights
  • Promoting Peace in Our World
  • Improving Mental Health and Well-being
  • Safeguarding Children’s Rights
  • Improving Family Structures and Marriages.
