After nearly a hundred hours of no social media activity since losing the Grammy awards for Best World Music category to Agelique Kidjo, singer Burna Boy has broken the silence with a series of tweets.
The African Giant crooner took to his Twitter page where he congratulated Angelique for her victory. In one of the tweet, he described the Beninese legendary singer as ‘Mama Africa.’
He also used the medium to appriciate his fans and those who supported him.
His tweet reads, “I love you forever @angeliquekidjo and every single person that rooted for me, I don’t take any of it lightly! The world get ready cause we’re all coming! #FOOTONNECK2020.”

In the same manner, Burna Boy paid tribute to Kobe Bryant and commiserated with the late NBA star’s family on his Instagram page.
“There’s only one thing more precious than our time and that’s who/what we spend it on. I always say, if I wasn’t doing music I would have played basketball, and it’s all because of Kobe! We’ve lost a legend and our hearts are breaking! Sending prayers up for his wife and kids #ripkobeandgianna,” he wrote.
