Nigerian Afrofusion singer, Burna Boy has been nominated for Best International Male Artist at the BRIT Awards 2020.
Burna boy was nominated alongside Americans, Bruce Springsteen, Dermot Kennedy, Tyler The Creator and Post Malone. This also comes after a Grammy nomination for his critically acclaimed album, African Giant.

The 2020 edition of the BRIT Awards is the 40th edition of the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards. The prestigious award will take place on February 18 in London. Nominations are led by British rapper of Nigerian descent, Dave and singer, Lewis Capaldi.
In 2019, Burna Boy had some major collaborations with British artists like Dave, Mahalia, Jorja Smith (twice), Wretch 32 and Stormzy. Those songs also charted within the top 10 of the Official UK Singles chart. ‘Own It,’ his collaboration with Stormzy and Ed Sheeran his No.
So far 2019/20 has been a great and massive year for the Nigerian singer, and he is looking forward to bagging some of these international awards.
