The high court has finally announced a verdict on the case of Busola Dakolo’s sexual abuse allegation against Coza Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo. The case was dismissed by the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja based on the fact that the incident happened a long time ago.
The Justice also added that the allegation was not aimed at getting justice, but at cruelty and Busola was fined 1M for time-wasting and damages.

On June 28, 2019, Busola Dakolo wife of famous Singer Timi Dakolo released an explosive interview accusing COZA founder Biodun Fatoyinbo of sexual abuse. She also filed a lawsuit against the Gucci pastor after alleging abuse in 2002 which caused her emotional distress.

Justice Othman A. Musa, who presided over the case gave his judgment and said the claim was sentimental, cruel, empty and an abuse of judicial process. He further stated that the damages awarded against Busola Dakolo should be ten times higher but was reduced in order not to discourage others who have legitimate claims.
Busola has reacted to the news, Posting on Instagram, she said, by voicing out she was silencing the screams in the night. She went on to say that the substance of the suit was never looked into by the court nor ruled upon. She believes that the effect of the injurious claim is a continuous one that transcends time and place.
