Afrobeat singer Davido has responded to comments made by Big Brother Naija season 7 Level Up winner, Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna.
Phyna was surprised that Davido was involved in a shady comment shared about her on the X app, formerly known as Twitter.
While addressing the hate she is dealing with, Phyna congratulated Davido on his twin babies.
She wrote: “Wetin I do @davido na wah oh, the hate is real… Congratulations on your twins, sha.”
In response, Davido wrote, “Thank you, love, but I actually don’t know who you are.. and it was an honest mistake.. no vex.”
Africanglitz had reported that Davido was bashed online after he liked a tweet that shaded Phyna.
The afrobeat singer, who just welcomed a twin, trended on the microblogging platform for liking a tweet that tagged Phyna as being useless.
A tweet stated that there are some particular celebrities that fans would like and that he would question and judge them.
