Charly Boy Hit Out on Nigerian Youths For Prioritizing BBNaija Over National Issues

Singer Charly Boy imagines how Nigerians continue to harbour the dream of having a better country when they give more attention to the frivolities of BBNaija over national issues.

On Monday, August 10, 2020, veteran Nigerian singer and activist Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, took to social media to express his dissent for the Big Brother Naija reality show.

Charly Boy in a post shared via his Instagram page, hit out on youths of the nation for showing vested interest in activities that transpires inside the BBNaija house over notable socio-political issues in the country.

The eccentric figure stated that when it comes to voting, youths are more eager to cast BBNaija votes as opposed to being a part of national elections.

He also highlighted how several antics pulled off by housemates generates more traction on social media over issues with the potential to directly affect the lives of Nigerians.

The Big Brother Naija is Nigeria’s most popular reality TV show which began in 2006. The show is now in its fifth edition currently premiering on television.
