The 7th year of Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating black and ethnic personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts took place in london on Friday, 30th and Saturday, 31st of October. The events which was yet another glamours and talent-filled room saw star such as football legend Didier Drogba, Singers SHiiKANE, Producer Obi Emelonye to name a few recognised for their work. The days event kicked off with a tribute to BEFFTA Fashion Icon 2013, Sam Sarpong. The International supermodel allegedly took his own life on the 26th of October this year.
The 7th year BEFFTA UK anniversary celebrated in a very grand prestigious style at West Minister Central Hall, the heart of London. The 2 days glamour night brought together several international and UK stars under one roof celebrating and honouring both unknown and known.
Football legend and former Chelsea football Didier Drogba received a THE BEFFTA HUMANITARIAN AWARD. Dove model Irene Sinclair received a THE BEFFTA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD and veteran actress Ellen Thomas received a BEFFTA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD among others.
