Popular Nigerian OAP, Daddy Freeze has secretly tied the knot with his long time lover, Benedicta Elechi in a low-key London wedding.
His beautiful partner who looked simple and elegant on the day decided to ditch the traditional white wedding dress in other not to raise suspicions.
Pastor Tobi of Spark Nation, as well as Daddy Freeze’s mother, Smaranda Olarinde and a small circle of friends, witnessed the couple’s union as they officially became husband and wife in the UK.

Mr Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, certainly needs no introduction in the Nigerian celebrity space. For a long time, the 46-year-old Nigerian-Romanian media personality is well known for calling out Nigerian men of God over bad behaviour.
However, the popular OAP got exposed after his adulterous affair with his present lover, now wife, went viral. He faced a heavy backlash from Nigerians and haters who called him a hypocrite who does not practice what he preaches.
After his shocking court case went viral in March of 2021, nothing more has been heard about the case’s progress. Interestingly, Daddy Freeze lost the case and was ordered to pay, Paul Odekina, the former husband of his now wife, five million Naira for having an affair while they were still legally married.
According to reports, the presiding Judge, Hon Justice Akpughunum, in a judgment, ruled that Benedicta’s husband provided solid evidence and proved his case of adultery against Daddy Freeze and Benedicta through photographic, documentary and electronic devices and his wife, Benedicta Elechi, also admitted to it.
Both Daddy Freeze and Benedicta were married to different spouses at the time of her pregnancy with the radio personality’s youngest son, Jason. Freeze’s marriage to his first wife, Opeyemi, collapsed during the extramarital affair, and the marriage was dissolved in 2019 by a Lagos High Court.
After Daddy Freeze’s infidelity got exposed in 2015, his former wife Opeyemi fled to the US with her two children due to alleged threats to her safety and the impact of the orchestrated marital crisis of Daddy Freeze on the mental health of their children. Following her departure, Benedicta reportedly moved into Daddy Freeze’s house with her four children in 2O16.
In response to the court rulings, Daddy Freeze reacted in a lengthy YouTube video on March 7, 2021. where he claimed to be shocked by the court injunction as he was never served, which was obtained in his absence. The OAP, however, noted that the High Court judgment is not final until it gets to the supreme court and cannot comment on the issue because it is now at the court of appeal. On social media, he argued with Nigerians to be patient as the truth will be revealed in due time.
Fast-forward to September 2022. There have been no updates on Daddy Freeze’s lawsuits neither are reports of him paying the five million fine. Instead, the couple fled to the UK and secretly got married in a low-key wedding hosted by Pastor Tobi Adeboyega of Spark Nation. After the secret wedding, the couple splashed out in what looked like a brand new black Mercedes Benz GME 53 worth millions in celebration.
