Daddy Showkey Recounts Life After Accident & How He Was Abandoned by Friends

Veteran Nigerian ghetto singer Daddy Showkey has taken to social media to recount one of the most difficult periods in his life during his time as a renowned celebrity.

Daddy Showkey was involved in a ghastly car accident in 2007 that forced him to temporarily quit music as a result of the injury he sustained.

Now the music star said he barely survived the freak accident and had to humble himself to be able to fend for his family as he was abandoned and avoided by friends after his recovery.

He made this known in an Instagram chat with a friend.

Daddy Showkey was involved in a ghastly car accident in 2007 that forced him to temporarily quit music as a result of the injury he sustained.

In the chat, Daddy Showkey said he travelled to Warri in Delta state where he learnt a trade and was being paid salary by his boss.

He said:

“When I get accident around 2007, I run my car under trailer, I dey come back from Olu Maintain birthday. As I get accident, I dey for hospital for three years, I nor fit work. When I came back from abroad, the doctor advised me to stop dancing and singing.

When I come back, the people wen go come meet me, I go dash the millions, when I go their house, them go tell their gateman make them lock gate, make the gateman tell me say dem nor dey”
