Nigerian super singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently went down memory lane after stumbling upon an old letter he penned for his late mum, Veronica Adeleke.
The music star left many of his fans feeling emotional when he took to his Twitter page on Wednesday, January 13, 2020, to share the note alongside a throwback photo of himself and mum.
Davido, who has never hidden his love for his late mother, paid tribute to her. He stated that he was thoroughly loved by his mum despite being headstrong in his formative years.
The touching letter reads: “How much I love you and how much love you gave to me. Despite my stubbornness, you are there to correct me. I miss your warm hugs, lovely kisses and lovely smile. You are a rare mother. You are one in a million. You will always be on my mind. Rest in peace mom.”
Captioning the post the 27-year old singer and father of three wrote: “Look what I found, Sweet mother.”

Mrs. Veronica Adeleke sadly passed away on the 6th of March 2003, at the young age of 39. She was wife to top billionaire Adedeji Adeleke. They both had two children together, one of whom is renowned musician Davido.
