Popular Nigerian singer Davido has been recognized on a global level by an international news network for his contribution in the effort to free the world of the dreaded coronavirus pandemic.
Davido’s act of benevolence recently earned him a featured spot on America’s news station CNN where he was interviewed by entertainment reporter, Chloe Melas following his decision to channel all proceeds from his new video ‘D&G’ towards a coronavirus vaccine research project.
During the interview with Chloe, Davido explained that he was working on a campaign with Dolce & Gabbana while he was on tour for his sophomore album,‘ A Good Time’. Along the line, he learned of the Italian fashion brand’s research project to find a vaccine for the respiratory ailment caused by Covid-19. This was what motivated him to donate proceeds from the music video project towards the research.
