Davido Adeleke, a well-known Afrobeat singer, is the target of criticism after a critic slammed him for planning to perform in Qatar.
This comes after it was reported that the singer will perform at the World Cup’s final event in Qatar in 2022.
Daniel Regha, a user on social media, claims that the singer would benefit most from abstaining from all performances until 2023, as planned.
The singer’s morning state following the death of his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, was the subject of the statement.
In a post via Twitter, the critic wrote;

Davido featured on the FIFA World Cup official soundtrack
According to the report, the Nigerian music superstar, Davido, had featured on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Soundtrack released on Friday.
The singer has featured alongside American star Trinidad Cardona and Qatari sensation Aisha ahead of Friday’s final draw for the tournament.
The popular Qatar filmmaker, Ahmed Al Baker, directed the video.
The track, Hayya Hayya (Better Together) , is the first single of the multi-song FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Soundtrack.
FIFA, on its website, said the uplifting track draws on R&B and reggae influences and will play a central role in Friday’s final draw for the tournament.
