Popular Nigerian singer Davido has received an accolade from global music company, Sony Music.
The singer, who is currently in South Africa, was presented with a plaque for his second studio album, ‘A Good Time,’ after the album and two of his hit singles reached new records in terms of sales.
Davido’s second studio album, A Good Time, has gone Platinum. Even more better is that his 2019 single titled ‘Risky,’ which features Jamaican dance-hall act Popcaan, also goes double Platinum. While his first collaborative single with top American singer Chris Brown titled ‘Blow My Mind’ hit platinum too.
To celebrate his latest achievement, the DWM boss took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, where he shared a video that captured the moment he was presented with the plaque accolade by a senior Sony Music official.
In the video, Davido was surrounded by members of his crew as they can be seen filming the unique moment and praising the singer.
if his vibe is anything to go by, It’s certainly feels like a good time to be alive for the excited music star.
