Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido has taken to social media to explain why he is the subject of much hate from most people.
Davido was born in Atlanta, USA, and is the son of Nigerian billionaire, Deji Adeleke.
The singer says he is disliked by most Nigerians because he comes from a wealthy family.
Davido made this known via his Twitter page on Thursday, April 23, 2020, while responding to a fan who had stated on the platform that the singer doesn’t deserve the level of resentment he gets from people.
“Davido doesn’t deserve the amount of hate he gets,” the fan wrote.
In his response, the DWM boss was quick to note that he isn’t hated by anybody. According to him, people are only mad at him because his father is rich. Davido went on to note that his real fans adores him a lot.
He wrote: “What hate?? They’re just mad my Dad is rich!! MY FANS LOVE ME!!”

Davido is the youngest of five siblings and his father’s second-born son.
