Afrobeats singer and new dad, Davido, has blasted his friend and music producer, Samklef, for allegedly leaking a video of him and Chioma with their newborn twins.
Africanglitz reported on Tuesday that news made the rounds that Davido and his wife, Chioma, had reportedly welcomed twins.
Though the couple didn’t confirm the news, Davido fueled the rumors after he hinted at his wife becoming ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in his song titled ‘In the Garden’, which features Morravey.
The singer had also tweeted on Sunday that this week would be the best week of his life.
His brother, Adewale Adeleke, further fueled the rumors as he gave thanks to God on Twitter.
Now, the news has been confirmed as a video of Davido and Chioma with their twins leaving the hospital has surfaced online.
Davido, who wasn’t pleased with the leaked video, blasted Samklef for allegedly leaking it.
Calling Samklef a clout chaser, he stated that the video wasn’t supposed to be released online, and he urged him to delete the video.

Davido’s comment has left many divided, as some pitched tents with him while others tackled him.

Recall that investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo had also confirmed the rumors as she shared details about the twins’ birth.
Kemi disclosed that Chioma delivered twins—a boy and a girl—on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, US.
She claimed that Chioma, who had been on bed rest for 90 days, welcomed her twins through a cesarean section (CS) at 38 weeks.
Many celebrities have congratulated the couple on their new bundle of joy. The likes of Iyabo Ojo, Junior Pope, Daddy Freeze, Victoria Inyama, and Susan Peters have rejoiced with the couple.
Iyabo Ojo had said a word of prayer for the new parents.
Susan Peters noted how God gave them double for their pain. Calling them ‘Papa and Mama Ejima’, she rejoiced with the couple.
The Junior Pope noted how God is indeed the greatest, as he gave all glory to Him.
Victoria Inyama, who was overjoyed with the news, revealed that she woke up to the news of their twins, which for her is a reminder that God is over all.
She noted how the couple has been through hell and back, especially from the trauma of losing a child and then to hateful slander.
The veteran claimed she worried over their mental, emotional, and psychological health, but she was assured that greatness begets gigantic tribulations.
