Don Jazzy Lifts 100 Nigerian Youths From Unemployment, Pays N1.5m for Them To Learn Coding

Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has put smiles on the faces of youths in the country through his recent kind gesture Don Jazzy sent over a million naira to a tech school to coach 100 people in the act of creating instructions for computers using programming languages The musician, however, instructed the school to ensure that they pick serious people who need the lessons.

Musician Don Jazzy has got people talking for paying the sum of N1.5m for 100 Nigerian youths to learn coding at a tech school. It all started when a young man called Chizom tagged Don Jazzy on social media and asked if he would like to sponsor 100 Nigerian youths to learn coding at their online mentorship programme. Chisom also noted that it costs N15k to code one person.

Surprisingly, Don Jazzy responded to Chizom’s post and immediately sent N1.5m to his account.

Don Jazzy also shared screenshots of the receipt online and then told Chizom to ensure that only serious students are picked for the programme.

Don Jazzy addresses people trolling him for featuring in skits Don Jazzy took out time to address people who have been criticising him for seemingly abandoning music for comedy skits nowadays. The Mavins boss in an Instagram post explained that a lot of them continue to make ignorant comments without knowing the level of hard work skit makers put into their craft. He noted that he simply laughs at such people because that is exactly how they miss out on important opportunities.
