Nigerian-Cameroonian actress Empress Njamah continues to score accolades and support from Nigerians who witnessed the genuine love and sincere friendship she showed late Nollywood star Ada Ameh while still alive. According to fans who saw how Empress Njamah took care of The Johnson’s Star actress after losing her only child, some believed that Empress Njamah even made Ada Ameh stay longer. Shockingly, Ada Ameh’s family are displeased by this narrative, and they have come out to attack Empress Njamah for not only taking all the glory but going ahead to opening a condolence register for the late actress and organising candlelight in her honour without their permission.

This attack is coming days after a lady identified as Abahi Ameh, who introduced herself as Ada Ameh’s younger sister, took control of the late actress’s Instagram page alongside her pastor husband and now using the page to gain popularity. Die-hard fans of the late actress immediately got upset about the new development. They called them out for not being there for Ada or celebrating her when she was alive but using her page for their personal advancement weeks after the actress passed away.

In reaction to all these backlashes, Abahi Ameh, in a post on Instagram, said their intentions had been misinterpreted by strangers who want to continue promoting wrong narratives about their family. While further explaining why she and her husband took over the late Domitila’s star actress account, Abahi took the liberty to shade Empress Njamah for acting on her own accord like Ada Ameh had no family left. Empress Njamah, who is still mourning Ada, has refused to engage in a cyber war with the late actress’s family. In a post on Instagram, Empress said this is not the right time to speak because she wants to mourn her friend in peace. Is Empress Njamah really taking all the glory? Did Empress Njamah have any right to open a condolence register and organise and candlelight ceremony for the late actress without her family’s consent?
