Popular Nigerian singer Wizkid has hit out at his colleague and music prodigy, Reekado Banks, after he attempted to release a new song amid the nationwide #EndSARS protest.
Bank had taken to his Twitter page on Thursday, October 15, 2020, where he announced the imminent release of new single titled ‘Omo Ologo‘ featuring Wizkid himself.
“Out of control, gbedu must drop. This one with my brother @wizkidayo “OMO OLOMO” midnight dropping. Still on the matter!!! #EndSWAT #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality,” he tweeted.

Wizkid was not pleased with Bank’s announcement, feeling it was ill-timed in light of the ongoing demonstrations against police brutality in the country. He immediately slammed him for his insensitivity.
“Delete this dude! Can’t believe you’re even doing this at a time like this. Old song! #endsars fool! Clout animal,” the Joro crooner blasted.
This comes hot on the heels of Wizkid calling off the release of his own album, ‘Made in Lagos‘.
‘Made in Lagos’ was billed to drop today, but he postponed the album out of respect for the #EndSARS protest.
