Nollywood actor Emeka Ike is currently trending online after he opened up about his messy split from his ex-wife and mother of his kids, Suzanne Emma.
In an interview with Rubbin Minds, Emeka recounted how a false accusation of domestic violence from his ex-wife made him lose his properties and access to his kids.
The talented role interpreter revealed that he returned from a work trip abroad to nothing as his house had been moved and his school, worth millions, was shut down. He claimed that when the reports of him assaulting his wife made the rounds, he had talked to her, and she had denied it, unknowingly believing that she was the one behind the news.
Emeka claimed that his marital drama led him into depression, which drove him to hide from the spotlight because he was ashamed.
“It is difficult to clarify things online cause the same people that bully you on the internet are still there and would make you feel otherwise when you speak up. If you aren’t prepared to handle it you will be crushed.
My secondary school, Saint Nicholas Collage on CMD Road, Magodo was shut down, over N480million investment was shut down and all I heard was “constant battery”. I was even asking my wife at that time if I beat her and she said since I am a star, people are manipulating things.
I felt I was gullible until I realized she was actually the one behind it. Some ladies are too desperate for a marriage lately and she actually told me that she was not the marriage type, but I didn’t understand it. But the young men need to know that there are plenty of ladies who aren’t the marriage type.

While some sympathized with him, others called him out for his lies as they exposed the actor.
Recall that in 2015, Suzanne Emma approached the court to dissolve their marriage, accusing her husband of physically and verbally abusing her throughout the marriage.
Since then, Emeka Ike’s life has never been the same, and he took a break from Nollywood, though he has since remarried.
Last year, Ike opened up about his split from his ex-wife, urging his followers on social media to ask their grandparents why their fathers died before their wives.
The actor later moved on from his ex-wife and started dating a South African model, whom he went public with in 2019 while celebrating her birthday.
A year later, the couple hinted at welcoming their first child after his lover shared a photo of her baby bump with a sweet caption.
