Over the weekend, the people of Hackney, as well as other black families in London, conducted a peace walk again the never-ending knife and gun crime invading the cities. On Sunday, 6th of May, pastors also lead a prayer walk from Brixton to Peckham, a call to end violence in the community.
Pastor Nims Obunge and Pastor Tobi Adegboyega of Spac Nation Ministries organised the event, an event that has become the biggest thing that happened in the Black Christian Community in London.
1,000 Christians took off from Brixton another 1,000 Christians took off from Lewisham and they all met at Peckham. This action by the people of Hackney and Black Christians in London joins other organisations crying out in the wake of escalating teen violence in the UK.
