Popular American rapper Lil Wayne is currently in trouble with the legal system after drugs and guns were found on his private jet in Florida on Monday December 23, 2019.
The Miami Herald reported that federal agents rushed to the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport while the plane was still en route after a tip-off from an undisclosed source that Lil Wayne’s private jet was being used to transport ammunitions.
On the groud of the Airport were agents from the FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
Men of the law enforcement agencies proceeded with searching the plane after obtaining a federal warrant. And during the process of search, the Herald reported that agents found cocaine, opioids, and guns in the aircraft.
While early report was not clear if the rapper was arrested, his lawyers were contacted and swiftly moved to the scene.
The 37-year old rapper defense attorney would later disclose that his client has been cleared to leave the scene on Monday night.
Lil Wayne also took to his official Twitter account to keep concerned fans updated on the issue by assuring them that all is well and under control.
