But even before saying that, we all could see by his actions and the affection he showers his mother every now and then that this Billionaire businessman truly loves his mother dearly. So when Lady Christine Doja Otedola hit 90 years of age, Femi Otedola made sure he painted Epe Town blue and white in honour and celebration of his beloved mother’s golden age in the biggest way possible.
The Otedola families dropped everything they were doing and flew in from across the globe storming one destination, the quiet town of Odoragunshin, Epe in Lagos State, to celebrate their amazing mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother popularly known as Lady Doja, as she officially joins the nonagenarians club. We often see people celebrating sweet sixteen, 30th and other fantastic ages of 50, 60, and sometimes 70.
However, a 90th birthday celebration is very rare, so we’re not surprised the Otedola’s went all the way to shut down the city. As with most elite events, this exclusive birthday party, hosted by Dare Art Alade, was strictly by invitation and had only the one-percenters of the society in attendance, including past and present governors of the Nigerian states.
