Prof Akintoye accused the Nigerian Government to have on ground plans to commence hiring black nationals living in the United States of America for $500 per for each to stage a Pro-Buhari and One Nigeria protest opposite the United Nations Headquarters in New York, United States.

The indigenous people of the South and Middle-Belt of Nigeria under the aegis of NINAS earlier made a public notice that it would be staging a “grand” protest at the UN headquarters today 24th.

“The Grand Finale of the NINAS Million-Man Freedom March holds on 24th September 2021, the day President Muhammad Buhari will be addressing the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly,” the group said.

They had prepared a “Million-Man Freedom protest” on September 14 and 15 opposite the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

They explained the protests were to show before the world, “the crimes against humanity, attacks on press freedom, free speech and other criminalities being aided by the Buhari led government of Nigeria”.

NINAS is also demanding “the conduct of a regional referendum so that the indigenous people can manage their own nationhood”.

The group also described the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria as a fraud against the people of South and Middle-Belt, saying “it was enacted without the consent of the people”.

Akintoye, in a statement by NINAS Director of Public Communications, Mr. Maxwell Adeleye, said, “Irrespestive of the material and financial superiorities of these Lions, there’s no way they can defeat United Foxes in a democracy.

“The Friday Grand March in New York shall be historic, hence, the Nigerian government is jittery. The ring leader of government officials and a top Lagos journalist are now in New York to start hiring black people who will pretend as Nigerians to stage a Pro-Buhari and One Nigeria Protest to counter NINAS on Friday.

“But we refuse to be rattled. We shall not be oppressed. No Oppressor has ever won against the collective will of the people. The people are the government and power belongs to the people. The people make the Constitution.

“The sovereignty belongs to the people. Our own power depends on our people. Therefore, Our protest shall be people’s centred. It shall be harmonious like it used to.

“All the people of the South and Middle-Belt in the United States and Canada are urged to come out in their good numbers to be present on Friday 24th September 2021 opposite the United Nations Headquarters in New York as we demonstrate and expose before the world, the rape of our ancestral land and hijack of our assets and sovereignty by the Fulani-Controlled Nigerian Government.”

NINAS is the umbrella group for self-determination bodies in the South and Middle-Belt of Nigeria with Ilana Omo Oodua symbolizing the Yoruba Land, Lower Niger Congress symbolizing the South-South and South-East and Middle-Belt Rennaissance Movement symbolizing the Middle Belt Region.
