A movie, ‘Suga Suga’, produced by entertainment company, G-Worldwide, has been acquired by the American video streaming and distribution platform, Amazon Prime.

The film, which was produced by brand and artist manager, and New York Film Academy alumna, Louiza Williams, was directed by Richard Iboyi, and was released in Nigerian cinemas on April 30, 2021. Shortly after its release, the film which was executively produced by Festus Ehimare got positive reviews from fans who praised its direction and cinematography.

On whether the movie will be relatable to an international audience, Williams said, “It is actually a universally relatable story of love, family, regret, adversity and redemption, which was brought to life by brilliant performances from industry heavyweights such as Ayo Adesanya, Charles Inojie, Tana Adelana, Wole Ojo, Greg Ojefua and Taiwo Obileye.

“Comedy makes everyone laugh regardless of its place of origin.

“With this acquisition by Amazon Prime, I believe the movie has justified the excitement that greeted its cinema release. It has also established the fact that G-Worldwide is a wholesome entertainment company, not just about music.”
