Celebrated singer and songwriter Ayra Starr’s tour schedule often take her thousands of miles away from her home, but she tries to bring a piece of home with her wherever she goes.

In this new episode of Grammy, “Herbal Tea and White Sofas”, Starr said about her favourite and life in her journey. When it comes to food her rider, Starr selects quick, savoury meals like ramen noodles- and as she explains, that meal has a connection to home for her, too.

The singer has inventive tricks for making her sweet snacks on your taste extra- delicious, too. The music star says gummy bears are another tour rider staple- and she’s got a super-sweet hack for taking the gummies to the next level.

According to her: “Every backstage, I have to eat noodles. Noodles are my favourite food in the whole world, and it just comfort. In Nigeria, we have noodles called Indomie. I used to get it since I was a child when I became a teenager when I was in school. When I was in uni, I couldn’t cook, I would always just make some Indomie, and as Nigerians, we know how to make things taste amazing in different ways.

She goes on by saying her brother is that piece of her who has to be with her on tour, and he is a songwriter.

She said: My brother is a songwriter and he is my best friend, so he has to be with me.
