Popular Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson says she can no longer strip off or do romantic scenes became she is now answerable to many people.

The actress made this known in a recent interview with Goldmyne TV at the premier of her directorial debut movie, Legend of Inikpi, as an explanation to why she ceased becoming the endearing and adventurous actress known to take on any role no matter how scandalous.

According to the soon-to-be mother of four, being matured has help her to make better judgements, and she now has a husband and children that look up to the things she does on set.

She said:

“When I do that, what would the younger girls do? When you grow past a certain level, you try to go ahead and do better. For me, you don’t need people to tell you what’s right or wrong. Age is telling on me. I’ve grown past that level, I’m answerable to too many people: my husband, my kids. I hate to embarrass them in any way. My daughter is growing.

She gets hold of my phone sometimes, begins to google, and goes like, ‘Mum, my friends said…’ And they’re very inquisitive. I don’t think it’s (playing unclad scenes) something I want to do to make my kids question me in any way or have something in their mind that they want to ask and they can’t.”

Mercy Johnson  recently premiered her new movie, “The Legend of Inikpi.”

The movie star stepped out in a sequin dress for the premiere of her first directorial movie alongside memebers of her family – husband, Prince Odi Okojie and their three children, Purity, Henry and Angel Okojie.
