The Ife Medical students set of 1980-82 had a gala night and award ceremony in London. Pauline Long, well known BEFFTA Founder, Presenter and Philanthropist was honoured at the event. The Chairman of the Planning Committee was our own Ken Smart who is also a medical graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University.
It was a 3 days event starting with bowling competition on Thursday night, thames cruise party on Friday night and finally ended on Saturday 1st August at the Radisson Hotel where the Reunion Gala Nite & Award Ceremony was held .
Alumni of Obafemi travelled from all over the world attended the occassion which is specifically for the Matriculating set of 1980 -82 sets.
