Having worked with the likes of Pop stars Olamide, Iyanya, D’banj, 2Kriss and Tipsy under the production/engineering guise of TwoBadGuyz, emerging Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer iRise is now stepping into the limelight as a solo artist with the release of two excellent debut singles titled “Supernatural Woman” featuring Esdee YFS and IceCake, and “Owo Wa”.
Produced, mixed and mastered by TwoBadGuyz (made up of iRise and inKreDiBLe Vee), “Supernatural Woman” sees iRise linking up beautifully with fellow UK-based artists Esdee YFS and IceCake to glorious effect in an ode to all the supernatural women in their lives. “Owo Wa” on the other hand is a gritty club banger backed by percussion drums and driven by a synth guitar melody, which is poised to make a huge splash on the club scene in the coming weeks.
Already renowned for his production prowess, iRise is fast becoming known as a talented vocalist, receiving his big break in 2012 opening for the AY show at London’s IndigO2. He later went on to perform alongside Flavour, Olamide, Sean Tizzle and Solidstar at last year’s Cokobar Music Festival. 2014 will see iRise continue in his upward trajectory as a rising artist and producer, enjoy “Supernatural Woman” and “Owo Wa” belo.
