The one time Miss West Africa and Veteran Broadcaster, Dame Julie Coker, arrives London for the premiere of her first Nollywood movie ‘The Broken Bride’, a Movie directed by George Kelly and Chucks Mordi and produced by Theodora Ibekwe Oyebade. She was warmly welcomed by George Kelly him self, he presented her a lovely bunch of flowers, which she accepted. The media veteran looked her best, and couldn’t stop smiling.
The Nollywood movie opens to the world stating its World Premiere at the Odeon Cinema Greenwich, London, Friday the 4th of July 2014. ‘The Broken Bride’ is a multicultural Nollywood movie and aims at enhancing cultural integration and promoting unity in diversity. It touches on issues of forced marriages prevalent in Africa and developing nations and much more.
The movie stars Julie Coker, Theodora Ibekwe Oyebade, Olivia Eze, Verona Rose, Preston Toghanro, Roli Maku, Edity Ogharaerumi, George Buwa, Stephen Hammond, Steve Hawker, Ebiyemi Jemide, Prisca Richards Blackson, Onome Mowoe and Remi Edele.
