Veteran Nollywood actor Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, popularly known as kanayo O. Kanayo, is no doubt a happy father at the moment following the graduation of his daughter from university.
Kanayo O. Kanayo recently took to social media to announce that his daughter, Valarie Onyekwere, bagged a BSc in Computer Science at Babcock university.
In a video shared via his Instagram page on Thursday, August 20, 2020, the proud father revealed that Valarie, his first child, graduated from the Computer Science department and was among the recent crop of graduates from the University’s virtual convocation ceremony.
“Hello friends my daughter Valerie Uloaku Onyekwere was amongst the graduates who had their virtual convocation ceremony today at Babcock University, Bsc Computer Science. Please plenty shout out ooooo to my first born,” he wrote.
Sharing photos of Valarie rocking her graduation outfit, Mr. Kanayo went on to give more reasons for his happiness. He explained that it was not easy for people who do not have rich backgrounds to pay school fees and as such his daughter’s gradation from college is an auspicious moment for him.
“Thanks for rejoicing with me on this most auspicious day. You don’t know what it means for those of us who don’t come from rich backgrounds to pay school fees. Chineke Emela oooo,” he added.
Babcock University is a private Christian co-educational university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria.
