Born again rapper Kanye West is reportedly planning to go global with his Sunday service in 2020.
TMZ reports that the hip hop turned gospel singer aims to turn his Sunday service into a global outreach in a move that will see him and his team tour Africa and Europe.
Kanye West, who held a Sunday service themed Jesus is king at Pastor Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston last November, is also planning to stage the event at the Yankee Stadium in May 2020, as part of the Osteen’s “Night of Hope” tour scheduled to take place in three cities across the States.
In October last year, Kanye West declared himself born again in a crowed auditorium where people had come to watch him perform.
“I want to let you know that I am not here for your entertainment this afternoon, we are here to spread the gospel,” he said at the time.
While wielding the microphone, the 41-year old also knelt down and prayed saying, “show my people the way, show us how to love, how to give and how to pray.”
West has since released an album titled ‘Jesus the King,’ and has been holding Sunday services in major cities across the country.
