Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Welcome Baby Girl as Couple Reveal Sweet Name

American super singer Katy Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom finally had their baby girl as they begin to settle into their new lives as parents together.

Katy Perry, 35, announced the birth of her first child, daughter Daisy Dove, with fiancé Orlando Bloom, 43, in a statement to UNICEF on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

The lovely couple shared a sweet black and white photo of them holding onto their newborn’s tiny hand alongside the words: “”Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy.”

The budding parents continued: “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter.”

Katy and Orlando are ambassadors to UNICEF, and the celeb couple used the opportunity of their daughter’s arrival to raise funds for the children organisationally.

“In celebration of the heart, we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting Unicef, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your (heart) can bloom with generosity.”

In February 2019, the couple officially announced their engagement, and Perry revealed that she was pregnant back in March 2020 through the video for her song ‘Never Worn White’.
