Over the past weekend, some Nigerian celebrities had an eventful weekend of celebrations, surprises, and fulfilling dreams.
1. Korra Obidi shows off her new house
Popular Nigerian Singer and Dancer Korra Obidi has stunned many on social media with her new big announcement. Korra recently purchased a new house herself. She shared a video showing the interior of her new home.
The mother-of-two recently bought a new house worth $1.6 million in Brentwood, California, Los Angeles. She announced the good news on her Instagram page on Thursday, 30th March 2023, while celebrating becoming a new Landlord.
Korra Obidi expressed her joy about being able to acquire such property and erase the shame that was associated with her after splitting from her husband, Justin Dean.
On Friday, 31st March 2023, Korra flooded her Facebook page with videos of the new house. The dancer and a few of her family members paid a visit to the residence to have a good feel of what it looked like and celebrate with her.
According to the videos shared of her new house, it showed that while work on the exterior part of the house has mostly been completed, it appeared that the interior feature still requires some finishing touches and furniture.
She wrote;
“Let’s explore my new home.
Brentwood Home Owner. So grateful I could cry
This time last year I was kicked out of my home 4 days postpartum. 1st of April, 2023 and I own a home. I am grateful.”

2. Reality TV Stars Saga and Nini got engaged
Ex-housemates of the Reality TV Show BBNaija season 6, Adeoluwa Okusaga and Nini Singh, got engaged.
The lovebirds were close friends in the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition of the reality TV show. While in the house, they shared everything and slept on the same bed from the third week till their eviction from the reality show, but denied dating each other.
However, a video of their engagement surfaced on social media on Friday. However, The lovebirds are yet to confirm the engagement on their social media pages.
In a video clip shared online, Saga proposed to his love interest, Nini in a romantic atmosphere decorated with rose flowers and had a write-up projected on a screen that requested her to be his forever.
Nini said yes to him. Though the proposal date is unknown, the couple kept things low.

3. Iyabo Ojo celebrated her lover’s birthday
Famous Nollywood Actress Iyabo Ojo recently shared pictures of her lover on her Instagram page to celebrate her lover, Paul Okoye on his 56th birthday celebration, on 2nd April 2023.
In a TikTok video dedicated to her lover, the actress who referred to the celebrant, her lover, as Odogwu, added that Paul is the ideal man for her.
She wrote;

4. 43rd Miss Nigeria, Etsanyi Tukura started her reality TV show
The Famous 43rd Miss Nigeria, Beauty Etsanyi Tukura, who started her Reality TV Show, is known for many things.
Aside from being the 43rd winner of the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant, She is also a BBNaija ex-housemate, entrepreneur, and founder of her own NGO.
Recently, Beauty shared the big news on her social media handles to announce the launch of her New reality TV show titled “My Beautiful Life”.
This left her fans in full anticipation of what her new show will look like. In her words, Beauty Tukura said it will be “about her life’s journey in its raw form.” Sharing the post, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude.
She wrote;

5. Comedian Anita Asuoha and her husband set to have their dream wedding
The Popular comedienne Anita Asuoha, professionally known as Real Warri Pikin, and her husband, Ikechukwu Asuoha, are set to have their “dream wedding” 10 years after they got married. The couple got married in 2013 and are blessed with three children.
However, the comedienne announced the good news on her Instagram page on Saturday, 1st April 2023. She revealed that their upcoming “dream wedding” will be the one they had always wished for.
Anita has said in the past that her wedding was not all she wanted it to be because they were low financially at the time and she hopes to have her dream wedding. Now, to mark their 10th wedding anniversary, the couple is renewing their vows by throwing their dream wedding party on June 10th, 2023.
She wrote;
“#ANIIKE2023 We are thrilled to announce that we will be having our Dream wedding – the one that we have always wanted and wished for! Although, in November 2022, the comedienne’s husband, Ikechukwu Asuoha, made his wife’s dream engagement a reality in the most romantic way after he popped the question again in a dreamy outdoor garden.
