Awards winning film maker Kunle Afolayan is no doubt one of Nollywoods greatest movie makers of today. He is also one of the Producer/director who doesn’t believe in quantity but quality. Most of his films such as The Figurine and Phone Swap are an example.
His movies has traveled beyond Nigeria and Africa and is creating waves in most foreign countries. He is not only a proud Yoruba man from Nigeria, he is also a passionate film maker who is not afraid to voice and protect his passion. “Here are some of the ways in which Film help propagate the economy of a country and register the name on the world Map” said Kunle Afolayan after uploading this video on his facebook page. “I hope and pray that our government sees and learn from this. His latest movie today is October 1st, a movie that looks into the history of Nigeria while telling its own story. The movie trailer was introduced to the world in October first 2013. The trailer didn’t fail to capture the heart of movie lovers, as all eyes are on Kunle gawking for the release of this movie which will take Nollywood another step further.
